Join us for a historic celebration honoring the centennial of women suffragettes and the transformative journey of female empowerment! This special event will commemorate 100 years since the courageous women of the suffrage movement secured the right to vote, forever changing the course of history.
At My Sister’s Closet, our mission promotes economic self-sufficiency of women by providing essential career development tools and supports services to women in poverty; with the goal of helping them to find meaningful employment. Being surrounded by incredible and strong women, we would like to invite the Bloomington Community to celebrate the determined and courageous that fought their right to vote by riding on bikes all across the country. The event will unveil a bike rack in front of the MSC store with a grand revealing of a memorable work of art attached to it.
