October 2014 – Since August of 2014, the donations have been rolling in. Thank you to Bloomington 100+ Women Who Care whose members gave My Sister’s Closet $100 each for donations totaling $20,300. Many thanks to all the members of this group who are helping community organizations in Bloomington in a very big way! My Sister’s Closet helps those in our community who are determined to move forward by finding employment and who are in need of assistance to do so. My Sister’s Closet partners to help individuals from over 40 area agencies. Our clients are moving beyond the difficult circumstances such as homelessness, joblessness, previous incarcerations, domestic violence, and extreme low income. To date, My Sister’s Closet has directly assisted more than 1,300 women toward achieving economic independence. There is nothing more powerful than community members coming together to create positive change! This donation will make a tremendous impact allowing My Sister’s Closet to continue to serve local area women and expand our services to those in need.
