Return Policy

Following are the return and refund policies for My Sister’s Closet of Monroe County’s online store. If you shop within this website, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully.

Exchanges

  1. Clothing
     
    My Sister’s Closet of Monroe County’s online store carries many brands. Manufacturers may define size differently, and some items will run smaller or bigger. We provide the same information as the size tag that the manufacturers have attached to the garment.

    To be eligible for an exchange,

    • Return your item(s) back to us within 10 days.
    • Each item we sell is unique. Exchange for the same item is not available.
    • Customers arrange and pay for return shipping.
    • Items must be returned in the same condition as originally shipped.
    • The original My Sister’s Closet of Monroe County’s tags must remain attached to the garment.
    • Items must be unworn by the customer.
    • Exchanges will be made for online store credit or in store credit.

    Items damaged during shipping are not returnable or refundable. If you receive your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. All items are carefully inspected by My Sister’s Closet of Monroe County’s quality control team prior to shipping.

    How to return items for store credit

    1. Go to usps.com or go to your nearest USPS office to return your items.
    2. Choose a package service that will return your item to us within 10 days.
    3. Customer pays the return shipping cost.
    4. Once we receive your returned items, we will send a confirmation email.
  2. Jewelry
     
    Jewelry is final sale. No returns or refunds available.

Refunds

If we ship the incorrect item, we will attempt to replace it with the originally ordered item, if available. If the originally ordered item is not available, we will issue you a full refund (including the shipping cost).

To be eligible for a refund,

  • Please email us at customercontact@sisterscloset.org within 48 hours of package arrival.
  • We will email a prepaid shipping label to you, and arrange for the return shipping of the incorrect item.
  • Once we have examined and validated the returned item
    • If originally ordered is available, we will ship the originally ordered item.
    • If not, the original item cost and shipping paid by the customer will be refunded.
