Dear My Sister’s Closet Supporter,

We cordially invite you to become a sponsor and attendee for My Sister’s Closet’s What Women Auto Know (WWAK) event scheduled April 20th at the Willkie Auditorium.

So what is … What Women Auto Know?

  • Have you ever been pulled over and wished you knew more about your basic rights if stopped by police?
  • How can you tell if someone is a real policeman, a detective, or any other person in authority on the road?
  • How you ever wished you could fix something simple that ended up costing you a bundle of money?
  • Have you ever had a negative experience with a mechanic and walked away feeling overcharged or taken advantage of?

Not knowing What You Auto Know, might cost you a bundle in court costs, thousands in car repairs, and just maybe … your life.

What Women Auto Know is a unique fundraiser/empowerment workshop presented by MSC featuring:
Chief of Police Michael Diekhoff, Honorable Judge Mary Ellen Diekhoff, and Brian Dorsey, Owner of Meineke.

4 popular A Cappella groups, delectable appetizers and desserts from over a dozen restaurants, an upscale barista bar, a silent auction with over 100 items, a heartfelt success story, and WWAK commentary from special guests:

Why Support My Sister’s Closet with a Donation?

The lack of appropriate interview clothing, training and education are significant barriers to struggling women needing to care for their families. For a female dealing with the issues of extreme poverty, homelessness or domestic violence … finding employment is much harder.

My Sister’s Closet’s has helped over 1500 local women to present themselves credibly and professionally, significantly increasing their chances of getting hired and maintaining a position helping them to find independence.

As the WWAK event approaches, we invite you to support our mission by becoming a corporate sponsor in one of the levels suggested on the attachment or by contributing to our silent auction with a gift card/certificate or an in-kind donation.

Examples of items people find popular at the silent auctions include:
